PEN America Emerging Voices Fellowship

The PEN Emerging Voices Fellowship is one of the best opportunities out there for writers that did not study creative writing in a university, or those that are currently not enrolled in a degree-granting program. 2020 BOAAT Writer’s Retreat

Led by Shane McCrae, judge of the 2018 Palette Poetry Prize, Frontier’s sister magazine, the BOAAT 2020 Writer’s Retreat is a week-long workshop and residency experience in the mountains of North Carolina. Although there is no submission fee, the retreat breaks down its all-inclusive cost of $1,100 into two payments upon acceptance. Only seven emerging poets will be selected, but with no submission fee, there’s no reason not to submit here.

Beloit is an exceptional journal, coming up on its 70th year of circulation, publishing some of the most carefully crafted work out there.
